St Patrick’s Celebration raises £1,150

150 guests enjoyed our St Patricks Celebration which included Irish folk music, dancing and supper held on 17th and 18th March at The Half Moon - whilst raising £1,150 for The Rosemary Foundation.

In our third annual celebration, we had wonderful music and singing from six-piece Irish folk band the Plastic Shamrocks, as well as crossroads dancing (which is like barn dancing to Irish music) led by our resident caller, Liz Scholey. A traditional Irish supper completed a thoroughly enjoyable evening on both nights.

Before the event at Shine Radio, interviewed Liz Scholey to find out more about Crossroads, Dancing, and the 10-minute podcast can be heard here
